Alice Cooper's "Halloween Horror" playlist features scary songs by him, Black Sabbath, Judas Priest
With Halloween almost upon us, Alice Cooper has devised a diabolical 15-song playlist filled with some of the scariest hard-rock songs ever.
"Alice Cooper's Halloween Horror" playlist, which is available now via streaming services, features five of the shock rocker's own songs, as well as tunes by Black Sabbath, Judas Priest, Mötley Crüe, Metallica, Iron Maiden, Rob Zombie and Mötorhead.
Among the tracks are Cooper's "No More Mr. Nice Guy," "I Love the Dead," "Welcome to My Nightmare" and "Feed My Frankenstein"; Sabbath's "Iron Man"; Judas Priest's "The Ripper"; Mötley Crüe's "Shout at the Devil"; Metallica's "Of Wolf and Man"; Iron Maiden's "The Number of the Beast"; Zombie's "Living Dead Girl"; and Mötorhead's cover of The Rolling Stones' "Sympathy for the Devil."
"To help celebrate the Halloween season, I wanted to share some of my favorite songs about the supernatural, the unexplainable and the downright frightening," Says Alice. "Think of it as your Halloween playlist, whether you're tricking or treating this year."
Cooper has also introduced a cool and creepy Halloween-themed Facebook app filter that allows you to try on Alice's black eye makeup via you mobile phone. The "My Nightmare" filter allows you to create and share your own Cooper-inspired image, as well as the ability to add lighting effects or make the image black and white.
Alice kicks off a fall U.S. leg of his Ol' Black Eyes Is Back on November 3 in Fort Myers, Florida. Check out his full schedule at AliceCooper.com.
