Driver throws dirty diaper out of moving car, hits police cruiser
Updated: Aug 27, 2019
It was a bad day all around for one diaper-slinging driver and the officer who had to clean the poo off of his cruiser.
The Indianapolis Star reports that the freak incident happened on I-65 in Indiana, where an unidentified driver lobbed a loaded diaper from his moving vehicle.
Unfortunately for everyone involved, State Police Sgt. Stephen Wheeles witnessed the entire thing -- watching in horror as the diaper bounced on the road a couple of times before striking the front of his cruiser.
The driver claimed, after being pulled over, that he had rolled down the window and the wind somehow managed to blow the diaper out of the car. Obviously, the officer didn't buy the excuse.
Wheeles wrote on his Twitter that the driver received a ticket for their unethical method of disposing a soiled diaper, aka littering.
Several users claim that the driver got off too easy and should have received additional community service -- like washing the cruiser.
