Even sheep are having McDonalds withdrawls
A flock of sheep took over the parking lot of a McDonald's on April 18 only to end up disappointed.
As it turned out, the restaurant, which was located in the United Kingdom, was closed due to the current global health crisis. To sum it up, no McMuffins, Big Macs or shakes for them.
Andrew Thomas captured a picture of the surely heartbroken livestock and shared it with social media.
"Even the sheep in Ebbw Vale, Wales, are having McDonald's withdrawals," he joked.
Seeing animals so close to domesticated areas is an unusual scene for most, but Thomas assured that it's not that far-fetched for that specific area.
Although the sheep didn't get the memo about the golden arches closure, a closer look at the photo reveals that they may actually be doing one thing better than humans during these trying times, which is following social distancing rules. The small herd appears to be standing about six-feet apart from each other as they boycott the McDonald's closure.
