Man arrested after picking his butt, picking a fight with state trooper
A 60-year-old man in Alabama picked his butt, picked a fight with a state trooper and then had to be picked up off the ground after he was hit with a taser.
Authorities arrested 60-year-old Julian Murphy of Montgomery, Alabama over the weekend. He faces charges of disorderly conduct and public lewdness.
The Montgomery Advertiser reported details from the state trooper's arrest affidavit this week.
According to the trooper, Murphy approached the officer's vehicle Saturday morning, "talking out of his head and saying things that did not make sense."
After Murphy started to follow a woman passing by, the law enforcement official exited the vehicle and told him to stop. Murphy cursed at and then took a swing at the state trooper, who blocked the punch.
Then things got even more bizarre. The trooper wrote that Murphy "dropped his pants with his back to me, put his finger in his rectum and then came at me swinging."
That's when the state trooper used a taser on Murphy, dropping him to the ground.
Murphy, who wasn't injured in the incident, was held on a combined $600 bond for the two misdemeanors.
