Move over pizza rat, the pizza groundhog is here
My, my, how the tables have turned. Typically it's humans who are peering through glass to look at some sort of exotic animal but this time it's an animal who is peering through to look at a human.
At a time when people around the globe are staying indoors, one groundhog decided to take in his meal with a view. It chowed down on a piece of pizza, and as it stuffed its cheeks with cheesy goodness, it peered into the sliding glass door of a Philadelphia woman's home.
In the video, which was shared to Facebook by Kristin Chalela Bagnell on Tuesday, the groundhog seems to be enjoying a slice of the cheesy pie when Bagnell and her two four-legged pups, Maggie and Moses, approach the door and decide to take in the view from their side as well.
"It’s not just the people that like Philly pizza," she hilariously captioned the clip.
The post has earned over 13,000 views since being posted. That's nowhere near the well over 11 million views that New York City's pizza rat has amassed since being discovered in 2015, but it could be on its way.
