Pennywise doll floats into woman's backyard; even police wouldn't touch it

A woman slept with a knife after a toy Pennywise the clown from Stephen King's It floated into her backyard. If you think she overreacted, wait until you hear the rest of the creepy details.
New Jersey homeowner Renee Jensen originally thought a bird died mid-flight when she watched the doll slowly descend into her front yard.
“It came at an angle and I just watched this thing, it didn’t hit a single tree and went straight over, just cleared the gate and hit the pine branches and hit the ground," Jensen recollected to NJ Advance Media.
She then found herself staring at a cute plush version of Pennywise the clown that had fake blood smeared all over its mouth and black symbols, which Jensen believes were satanic, written across its forehead.
She also had no idea where it came from. There's only one neighbor in Jensen's immediate area and they weren't home at the time. Jensen says it's impossible for them to have launched it from their home. It's theorized the toy came in via drone, but she couldn't be sure.
After a call to police, the two responding officers refused to touch the doll or take it back to the station as evidence. Instead, they recommended she destroy it.
The group soon discovered the Pennywise plush was also flame-proof. It eventually went up in flames after being doused in olive oil and set on a kindling bed of old newspapers.
It is possible the incident is a stunt to promote the upcoming It sequel, It Chapter Two, which is slated to hit theaters September 6.
Jensen, on the other hand, wasn't taking any chances. She slept with a knife that night and kept her bedroom door locked.
