"You have the right to remain PFFFFT silent..."
Police in Liberty, Missouri were on the hunt for an alleged criminal over the weekend. And they found him. Turns out, he was right under their nose.
"If you’ve got a felony warrant for your arrest, the cops are looking for you and you pass gas so loud it gives up your hiding spot, you’re definitely having a 💩 day," the Clay County, Missouri Sheriff's Department posted to its Facebook page.
That's right. Police were able to locate the suspect because he passed gas -- apparently, bad enough that they were able to sniff him out. Literally.
"The person was arrested over the weekend on a Clay County warrant for possession of a controlled substance," reported KMBC-TV, the ABC affiliate in Kansas City. "We’ve gotta give props to Liberty PD for using their senses to sniff him out!"
So much for his right to remain silent.
